Things to keep in mind: 

  1. Every item is handmade, so there will be slight variations in each product.
  2. The final outcome of your product depends on the information you give us. For example, if we receive a grainy or blurry photo to engrave, the final product will also look grainy or blurry. 
  3. The lead time below refers to when your order will be shipped or be ready to pickup. The shipping speed you choose on checkout only affects the speed that your package will arrive to you after this lead time. If you need a rush order, please contact us at shop@inKindStore.com before ordering.
  4. If you enter the recipient's email address when filling out the Gift Certificate information, they will immediately receive that Gift Certificate via email upon checkout. Instead, enter your email address in both email fields to receive the Gift Certificate yourself to print and give to the intended recipient later. 


Earring Club Subscription Questions:

How does it work?

You subscribe once at inkindstore.com/earring-club-subscription-signup/ After you choose your tier and go through the checkout process, you just sit back and wait for your earrings to arrive at your doorstep each month! You will be billed monthly for your subscription. 

How many pairs of earrings will I receive each month? 

Each tier has a different quantity of earrings offered. We will never offer less than four pairs per month. If we only offer four pairs for that collection, and you have selected our highest tier with four unique pairs per month, you will receive the entire collection for that month! 

When will my subscription start?

Your subscription begins the moment you sign up. You must sign up before the 1st if you want earrings from that month's release. For example, you must sign up on or before March 31st if you want the earrings from the April release. No matter when you sign up, you will always get a monthly box about once every 30 days.

What is the final price I will pay each month?

It wont let me log into my account. 

Subscription accounts are separate from normal inKind accounts. You must create a subscription account to become a member of the Earring Club. You can do this after choosing your subscription tier. Select a Plan here: https://inkindstore.com/earring-club-subscription-signup/

How do I change my subscription? 

You can manage your account here: inkindstore.com/manage-earring-club-subscription/ If you upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan by clicking "Edit" under "Subscriptions", that change will not take effect until your current month's subscription you have already paid for is complete--you will also not be charged differently until this happens either, and this will all happen automatically.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes! You may cancel at any time. Your subscription will remain active until the day before you were supposed to be charged next. This means that if there is another monthly release on the 1st of month while your subscription is still active, even if you have cancelled, you will still receive that earring box.

Lead Time
Current Earrings Lead Time: 1 day.
Current Personalized Item Lead Time: 1 week.

Lead time refers to when your item will ship, not when it will be delivered to you. We cannot change the amount of time it takes to ship your product, but we can reduce the personalized item lead time with a rush order. Contact us at shop@inKindStore.com before ordering if you need a rush order. We strive for a one week lead time year round, however, during busy times of the year (Christmas, Valentine's Day, etc.) we may have to extend our lead times because of an increase in orders. We post updated lead times and holiday cutoffs on our social media accounts, as well as here in this FAQ.

How do I send you my photo or handwriting photo for engraving

There is a "Choose File" button on each product page that allows a photo submission. If you do not see this button, or are having issues with this function, please contact us at shop@inKindStore.com and we will help in any way we can.

If you are requesting that we pull handwriting from two separate files, please either take a picture of both handwriting in the same picture to send us as one file or contact shop@inKindStore.com for more information before placing your order.

Can I add a personalized note if I am sending my order as a gift? 

If you are sending this product as a gift you can add a Handwritten Note in your cart. Simply click "Gift Options" under the product in your cart. Then choose "Handwritten Note" and type your message in the "Gift Message" field. 

Care Instructions for Earrings:  

Do not use any type of jewelry cleaning cloth on these earrings. If you need to clean the sterling silver posts, simply slide the posts out and clean with soap and water. The posts are meant to slide out which makes the cleaning process easier. The acrylic portion of the earrings can usually just be gently wiped with a cotton cloth or towel to clean. If this is not enough to clean the acrylic portion of the earrings, gently wash with soap and water. Gently dry the posts and acrylic with a cotton towel. We recommend storing the earrings in the box you received them in, or in a jewelry box.

When you buy any 2 pairs of earrings you will automatically receive 10% off your earring order. When you buy any 3 or more pairs of earrings you will automatically receive 15% off your earring order. 

What is the character limit? 

We have different recommendations for each of our products. These recommendations refer to a single side of the product, if applicable. 

  • Leather Keychain: It depends. See the pictures in the leather keychain product listing for examples of different fits.
  • Leather Bracelet: Depending on the bracelet length we can fit full sentences. If you order a 6 inch bracelet we can fit less than if you order an 8 inch bracelet. The more words and symbols we engrave the less design you will see. See the leather bracelet listing for photo examples.

Why were there no taxes added to my order?

We already include taxes in the price of our products! What price you see is the price you pay! The only exception is the tax paid on shipping which we cannot control, and this tax is itemized during checkout. If you are picking up in-store, you will not pay this tax.

How will I know my order has been shipped? 

You will be emailed at the email you provide at checkout when your item has shipped. Note that this email may go to your spam box. Contact us at shop@inKindStore.com if you have any questions. 

Can I request my order be made sooner than the current lead time? 

Yes! We call this a Rush Order. Email us at shop@inKindStore.com before placing your order to talk to us about our Rush Order process. The extra charge will depend on how soon you need your order to be shipped. Please note that we may not be able to make your order any quicker depending on the season and upcoming holidays due to large order volumes, so do not count on being able to place a Rush Order when planning your future inKind orders.  

How do Gift Cards work? 

You can find our Gift Card option in the menu on the left of your screen. Here, you will be able to fill out all the needed information and add the gift card to your cart. Please note that you should NOT add the recipient's email address if you do not want the Gift Certificate emailed to them as soon as you purchase it. So, if you want to print the Gift Certificate to put in a birthday card, INSTEAD add your own email address in both email address fields. After purchasing the Gift Certificate you will receive a printable version.
